The concept of my “collage a still life” kits arose when I was asked to lead a sober “paint and sip” class at a local NA bottleshop. After ruminating on the purpose of traditional paint and sip classes, I decided it would be more fun for people to leave feeling confident in what they create regardless of their level of experience or comfort with creativity. I ended up making an accessible, all-inclusive kit of illustrated objects so that anyone can engage in the craft of capturing a still life.
